Description

TIDENHAM A48, TIDENHAM ST 59 NE (west side) 10/211 Tippets Field Barn c175 metres south west of Severndale Farm - II Field barn, adjacent to A48. C19. Sandstone rubble, pantile roof, including lean- to shelter shed, left, but 3 courses of stone slate at eaves to main barn. T-plan, with deep hipped cart entry on far side, roof ridge lower than main one, full height pair plank doors and on road side, this side also a plank door, left, and a 2-light wood mullioned opening, far left. Two rows putlog holes in front and to north gable. Interior not seen. This is a modest free-standing bearn, but in form and external detail unmodified.
