Description
Bishton Farm and the attached barn are a farmhouse and barn dating from the late 18th century. The main farmhouse is rendered and has a concrete tile roof with coped verges and brick gable stacks, including an off-centre stone ridge stack on the left. There are extensions on the left, which include a small return wing at a low level, and a barn with a slate roof that has a hipped outer end. The farmhouse is 2½ storeys high and features a three-windowed front with wide-spaced 12-pane sash windows. There is a central late 20th-century glazed door set in a brick porch with a coped gable. The barn's return end has a 2-light wood mullioned opening above a garage door, while the back of the house has a mix of casement and sash windows, along with a part lean-to extension. The interior has not been inspected.
