Farmhouse with range of outbuildings attached. C17; later alterations. Farmhouse of stone, stuccoed at front, coursed rubble in gable end with brown brick window arches, slate roof and two brick ridge stacks. Outbuildings of brown brick and coursed rubble sandstone; slate roofs. EXTERIOR: farmhouse is 2 storeys, 2 bays, on exposed stone plinth; outbuildings are single storeyed with lofts, with single-storey pent-roofed extension to gable end. Farmhouse front has framed, ledged and braced door and 2-light horizontal sliding sashes on both floors. Gable end to right has replacement glazed and panelled door flanked by 3-light flush casements on ground floor: first floor windows are similar. Windows are 3 panes high and have stone sills and flat brick arches. Rear: one C20 3-light casement. Outbuildings have 4 half neck doors and scattered small windows. Some loft openings are full door height, other pitching holes are square. Narrow half-brick wide breathers. INTERIOR of farmhouse has plain boarded doors throughout.
