Description
Delamere House is a house dating from the late 17th century, with many alterations made since its original construction. It features a cruck frame that is encased in coloured rendered sandstone, topped with a red tile roof and rendered end stacks. The building is single storey with an attic and has a two-bay front set on an exposed sandstone plinth. The entrance includes a half-glazed door with two vertical panels, which is flanked by three-light cantilevered bay windows that have flush framed casement windows, all covered by a pent roof. In the attic, there is a window with two pairs of flush casements set within a gabled half dormer. Inside, the house showcases timbers in the walls, exposed beams, ceiling joists, and a single cruck truss.
