Description

Pickerton Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coloured sandstone and features a shallow pitched slate roof with stone copings and brick end stacks, one of which is painted. The exterior has a two-storey, three-bay front, with a replacement boarded door located to the right of centre, and replacement windows that are mainly three-light flush casements. Inside, the cottage showcases exposed beams and ceiling joists.
