Description

This milestone, dating from the 19th century, is located on the east side of the B4228 in Tidenham, opposite Sunnyside Cottages. It is made of stone and measures approximately 600 mm by 300 mm by 300 mm, featuring a rounded top. The milestone is partially sunk into the roadside and is inscribed with 'To Chepstow ....', indicating that it is 2 miles from Chepstow. Additionally, there is a bench mark on the top of the stone.
