Description

This is a 19th-century milestone located at Tait's Hill in Stinchcombe. It is made of sandstone and measures approximately 450 mm by 220 mm and stands 1 meter high. The milestone features a cast-iron panel that is bolted on, with a rounded head. The panel has the inscription 'CAM' at the top and lists the distances to Dursley (2 miles), Berkeley (3 miles), and Wotton (5 miles) on its body.
