Description
This milestone, dating from the 19th century, is located on the southeast side of the B4228 road in Tidenham. It is made of stone and measures approximately 600 mm by 300 mm by 300 mm, featuring a rounded top. The milestone is partially sunk into the roadside and is inscribed with the distance to Chepstow, which is 3 miles. The upper part of the stone surface is damaged and broken. It is situated opposite the lower entrance to Boughcliff, which is not listed, and about 3 metres east of the entrance to Offa's Dyke Path on the same side of the road.
