Description
The monument to Joseph (?) Tamplin is located in the churchyard approximately 16.5 meters northeast of the northeast corner of the chancel of St Mary Church. This late 18th-century pedestal tomb is made of sandstone and features a moulded top, a fluted frieze at the east and west ends, and sunk moulded panels on the north and south sides. The inscriptions are only partly legible but include the name Joseph (?) Tamplin and the year 1783. This memorial is situated about 5 meters north of another memorial to Joseph Tamplin from 1778.
