Description

COLN ST ALDWYNS HATHEROP ROAD SP 1405-1505 (north side) 12/151 Maltings and warehouse adjoining and to north of Malt House GV II Former maltings and warehousing; now forms part of Malt House (q.v.). Mid C19. Coursed rubble limestone; brick-topped ashlar chimney; stone slate roof, concrete tiles on courtyard slopes. Two-storey; L-plan. West side: mixed fenestration including tripartite sashes to right of segmental arched carriage gateway with plank doors. Three small horizontal sliding sashes to upper floor, all with timber lintels. Ridge-mounted chimney and timber louvred lantern vent with pyramidal roof. North side: roof hipped at north west corner; small scattered upper floor casements. Interior not inspected.
