Description
No. 44 on Bibury Road is a house located at the end of a row, built in the late 19th century. It features rock-faced coursed rubble limestone and has a clay pantile roof with a brick-topped ashlar chimney. The house is two stories tall with an attic and has an outshut at the rear. The front of the house has two windows, all of which are segmental arched timber horizontal sliding sashes. To the right of the front is a doorway with a 4-panel door and a parapet gabled porch that has a pointed arch. The gabled ends of the parapet are also present, with the north end featuring a single-window segmental arched sash similar to those on the front. A large ridge-mounted chimney is located at the south end of the house. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
