Description

Manor Farmhouse and East Wing is an early 19th-century building, originally a large detached house, now divided into two separate residences. The main part of the building is constructed of coursed rubble limestone, with brick chimneys and a Welsh slate roof. It stands three stories high in part, and two stories in another, with a two-story rear wing. The front elevation exhibits a three-window arrangement to the three-story section on the right side, featuring 16-pane sash windows to the ground and middle floors, and a 12-pane sash window above, all set within plain stone openings with stone lintels. A doorway on the left side has a four-panel door and a Regency iron porch. The two-story section to the left is characterized by tall 12-pane sash windows, each with panelled shutters. The ends of the building have parapets, and three chimneys rise from the ridge of the roof. The rear of the building features a wing with a mix of segmental arched and square-headed timber casement windows. A rear lean-to extension, with similar window styles, adjoins the main range. The interior has not been inspected. A former coach house is located adjacent to the north side of the property.
