Description
The building is a maltings located in the garden of No. 2 Queen Street, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick, with the upper part rendered. The structure stands two storeys tall, featuring a conical first floor with arched openings, while the ground floor is square in plan. The floor between the storeys is made of pierced iron tiles supported on iron joists. There is a single-storey ancillary shed to the south, also built of brick and topped with a pitched slate roof. The east side of the building has one planked door.
