Description
No. 11 High Street is a mid-18th century building, with deeds dating back to 1773. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a hipped tile roof with red brick chimneys. The building stands three storeys tall and has plain stringcourses above the ground and first floors, along with a brick modillion eaves cornice. On the first and second floors, there are four ranges of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes one casement window with glazing bars, two modern double-hung sashes, and a segment-headed planked door located at the south end. In the center, there is a modern glazed door that is accessed by four steps, topped with a flat moulded hood supported by consoles. Additionally, there is a one-storey extension to the south with a lean-to roof that is concealed by a blocking course, which includes one planked door.
