Description
This is a late 18th-century terraced house on the High Street in Centre Island. The house is constructed of stucco over brickwork and has a hipped slate roof with a red brick chimney. It is three storeys high, with an additional attic level. The west elevation features two ranges of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The south elevation has two ranges of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the first and second floors. A doorway, ascended by four steps of ashlar, is flanked by Tuscan columns and has a dentilled pediment. The doorway incorporates panelled reveals to a six-panelled door and an oblong fanlight. There is one attic dormer with a double-hung sash window and glazing bars. A street lamp is attached to the corner of the building. The building has group value.
