Description

No. 136, East Street occupies an island site in South Molton. This early 19th-century building is stuccoed with a slate roof and has three storeys and a basement. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top. The front features three sash windows with their original glazing bars. Unusually, the central window on the first floor is round-headed. A doorcase with pilasters supporting an entablature frames a six-panelled door, with panelled reveals.
