Description
19 High Street is a late 17th-century building constructed of painted brick with a hipped tile roof. It stands two storeys high and features a plain string course above the ground floor. The projecting eaves cornice is supported by consoles. On the north elevation, there are two ranges of windows; the first floor has double-hung sashes with glazing bars, while the ground floor has plate glass. The west elevation has one range of windows, with the first-floor window obscured by a signboard and the ground floor featuring plate glass. The doorway on the north elevation has a moulded surround with a triple keystone and elaborate consoles supporting a pediment. The door itself has two glazed panels, four fielded panels, and retains its original keyhole.
