Description
This is a timber-framed building, likely dating to the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations. The original structure has brick nogging and an 18th-century front that has been stuccoed. The roof is tiled, with a pitched design and overhanging eaves. The building is three stories high. The ground floor features a single door with a moulded surround, and a mid-19th century shopfront with glazing bars and a moulded cornice. The first floor may have originally been jettied. The first and second floors have two ranges of flush-framed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The building forms a group with numbers 2 to 12 (even) on the High Street.
