Description
The Cottage is a building dating from 1789, constructed with nodular flint and red brick dressings. The first floor of the east elevation is tile-hung, and the building features a hipped tile roof and a red brick chimney. It stands two storeys high and has a brick modillion eaves cornice. The south elevation includes two segment-headed casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor and one on the ground floor, along with a door that is concealed by a modern porch. The east elevation has modern openings, and there is a catslide roof to the north. A two-storey outhouse is located to the north, also built with nodular flint and red brick dressings, and it has a modern pitched roof. The former loft door opening on the first floor has been filled in with a modern window.
