Description

The building is a former maltings, now used as stores, dating from the mid-18th century with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone rubble with red brick sides and features a Collyweston roof. The structure is two stories high with attics and has a seven-bay front. On the ground floor, there is a blocked off-centre doorway with a wooden lintel, above which is a circular vent. The first floor contains six two-light windows and a planked door, all featuring timber lintels. At the eaves level of the roof, there are four hipped two-light dormers with slate-hung cheeks. The left-hand gable includes wide planked double doors set under a segmental brick arch.
