Description
The former stable with loft, located immediately south-west of Ewen House, is a small building dating from the mid to late 18th century, which has been converted into a workshop. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a half hipped stone slate roof topped with a weathervane. The building has a nearly square plan. On the north side, there is a gabled loft door to the left and a centrally located boarded door with a timber lintel. Additionally, there is a single row of dove perches situated below the eaves on both the east and west sides. The stable underwent restoration in the late 20th century.
