Description

This is a small former coach house, likely dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It has been converted into a double garage. The south front is built of carefully arranged, dressed stone, while the remaining walls are of more rustic rubble construction. The building is built into the north end of the stable yard wall and incorporates gate piers. It has a hipped roof covered in stone slates. The main feature is a square block with two round-arched openings on the south side, each with a keystone and a decorative plat band at the spring of the arch. The tympana (the triangular spaces above the arches) are now boarded in, and 20th-century garage doors have been inserted into the lower sections of these arches.
