Description

This building is a coach house, now used as a garage, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall, with a symmetrical design. The ground floor includes a three-bay open arcade with basket-arched wagon entrances. These arches spring from square capitals atop two massive cylindrical piers, and the outer ends of the outer arches connect to short terminal walls. Above each outer arch on the first floor, there is a square window with a plain surround. The gable copings are adorned with kneelers. On the right-hand (north) gable wall, there is a flight of steps leading to a raised doorway. The interior has not been inspected.
