Description
The former coach house, now used as a store, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high, with a symmetrical design. At the ground floor, there is a three-bay blocked arcade with basket-arched former wagon entrances. These arches spring from square capitals atop two massive cylindrical piers, and the outer ends of the outer arches extend into short terminal walls. The right-hand (north) gable wall has another blocked arch. On the first floor, there is a set of three blocked windows with flush ashlar surrounds, and the right-hand (north) gable wall also includes a plank loft door.
