Description
The coach house, now used as a garage, dates from the early 19th century. It features an ashlar front with coursed squared sandstone on the sides and rear, and has gritstone dressings. The roof is slate with a stone ridge, and there is a stone gable end stack on the western side. The gables are stone coped with plain kneelers. The building has three bays and is a single storey with low lean-tos on the east and west sides. There are three wide semi-circular headed archways, each containing a pair of plank doors, and raised keystones above the arches. This structure is included for its group value with Ogston Hall.
