SK 35 NE PARISH OF BRACKENFIELD OGSTON LANE 4/15 (South Side) Sawmill to west of Ogston Hall GV II

Sawmill, now stables and garage. Late C17 with major C19 alterations. Coursed Sandstone rubble. Sand stone dressings. C20 concrete tile roof with stone ridge. Moulded stone copings to gables, inverted moulded kneelers. Two storeys, six bays. West elevation:- three segmental arched doorcases with flush quoined sides, that to south partly blocked and with C19 window. Four small rectangular openings with plank doors to sides. Above, three similar openings and large inserted door to north. Included for group value only.
