Former timber saw mill. Mid C19. Calciferous sandstone rubble with flush quoins under graduated greenslate roof. 3 storeys 2 bays,with lower extensions in L-shape. Plank door in quoined surround. Sash windows with glazing bars, those on ground-floor boarded over, all in stone surrounds. Front extension has sliding C20 door under slit vents. Left extension has C20 garage door in stone surround. Listed for group value with Dovenby Mill House.
