Description

The Mill at Grange Farm is a building dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a slate roof. The mill is a rectangular structure with two storeys and attics, and it has lower lean-to blocks at the rear. The front elevation includes a projecting weatherboarded sack hoist leading to the attic. On the first floor, there are four windows with glazing bars set beneath segmental arches, flanking a central doorway that is also under a segmental arch. The ground floor features a left-hand doorway and two windows with glazing bars, all positioned under segmental heads. There is a central doorway and a right-hand double doorway with a cambered relieving arch. The mill is included for its group value.
