Description

Clumbercote is a 17th-century house located on Station Road in Willington. It features colourwashed roughcast render over a timber-framed structure and has a thatched roof that is hipped to the south. The house has a three-room plan, is one storey high with attics, and includes two three-light and one two-light casement windows on the ground floor, along with two dormer windows that have three-light casements. All of the windows are from the 20th century. There is a 20th-century gabled thatched porch situated between the two right-hand bays. A rebuilt red brick chimney stack is located at the southern end of the house. Additionally, there is a slightly later single-storeyed extension at the northern gable end, which also has a hipped thatched roof.
