Description
Grange Farmhouse is a house built in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped slate roof on the main block, while the rear block has a 20th-century tile roof. The main block is L-shaped and consists of two storeys, with an additional two-storey block on the north wing that has a more steeply pitched roof.
The front elevation has a symmetrical three-bay facade, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. There are two ground floor windows that sit under gauged brick flat arches. The central doorway is adorned with pilasters, an entablature, a cornice, and panelled reveals. Above the six fielded panel door is a rectangular fanlight with radiating glazing bars. The house has integral brick stacks on both the west and east walls. The other elevations display similar window arrangements, with a doorway on the east elevation that is simpler but maintains a similar style.
