Description

Biggleswade Mill is a 19th-century, three-story mill of L-plan construction. It is built of gault brick. The north front features six bays of shallow, round-headed arcading with a plain window on each floor. The right-hand three bays are topped by a gable, and a gabled projecting hoist is located in the center of these bays. The south gable end has two plain windows on each floor and a round-headed window in the gable itself. The east gable end displays three shallow, round-headed niches, each with a window on each floor. The long west-facing side has only four round-headed, shallow recesses. The facade is largely hidden by lower-level extensions. The roof is covered in asbestos.
