Description

No. 29 Market Place is a mid-19th century building constructed of gault brick. The right-hand section is a refacing of an earlier timber-framed structure. It stands three storeys tall with a slate roof and features six windows, although the fifth from the left is blocked. There are five sash windows, with gauged brick heads on three of the left side and stucco heads on three of the right side. The building also boasts attractive 19th-century shop fronts that include decorated timber fascias and brass lettering.
