Description
No. 31 Church Road is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and a half-hipped thatched roof. The original structure has a two-room plan and consists of one storey with attics. On the left side of the front elevation, there is a 20th-century colourwashed single-storey lean-to addition that extends beyond the left gable end, which includes five small windows and a 20th-century front door. On the right side, there is a glazed 20th-century porch, behind which is a two-light casement window with glazing bars and a glazed door. A red brick double ridge stack serves a back-to-back hearth. Additionally, there is a 20th-century single-storey tiled addition on the west gable end.
