Description

No. 10 North End Road is a 17th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and whitewashed brick infill. The building features a thatched roof that is hipped at the street gable and half-hipped at the far end, with a central brick stack. It has one and a half storeys and consists of two bays. The ground floor has barred wooden casements, with a two-light window on the left and a three-light window on the right. The first floor includes a 20th-century three-light metal casement window in the thatch on the right side. There are ledged board doors on each side of the cottage. A 19th-century extension with a slate roof at the street gable is present but is not considered of special interest.
