Description

A house dating from the 17th century. It is timber-framed with diagonal bracing and whitewashed brick infill, set on a blackened rubble stone plinth. The roof is thatched and half-hipped to the right, with a brick stack located between the right-hand bays. The house has 1½ storeys and three bays. On the ground floor, there is a barred window to the left and 19th-century three-light wooden casements to the right-hand bays. The first floor has 19th-century three-light barred wooden casements set within the thatched roof. A 20th-century door is located between the right-hand bays, sheltered by a timber-gabled and thatched porch. The rear of the house features similar casements and a small, canted bay window to the left with a lean-to roof supported by a bracketed cornice; two other similar windows are present, though the cornices are obscured.
