Description

Foxgloves is a small house dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is built with whitewashed roughcast over a stone and brick structure, and has a thatched roof, half-hipped to the right side. An external brick stack is situated on the left gable. The house has one and a half storeys and three bays. It features three-light leaded casement windows, with those on the first floor set into the thatched roof. A 20th-century enclosed porch, with a hipped tiled roof, is located between the right-hand bays, incorporating a side door and a small leaded canted bay window to the front. A garage is positioned to the left. A timber board dated 1669 was discovered within the roof space.
