It is timber framed with large rectangular panels of whitewashed brick infill and features a thatched roof with brick stacks at the gables and center. The cottage has two storeys and four bays. It includes barred wooden casements, with paired windows in the left-hand bays on the ground floor and three first-floor windows, as well as a three-light window in the right-hand bays on the ground floor. The central entrance has a 20th-century six-panel door set in a reeded surround. To the right, there is an additional single-storey bay that has a three-light casement with an arched top under a hipped thatch roof.
