Description
Gamekeepers Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It is timber framed with whitewashed brick infill and a plain tile roof. The house has two storeys. The front of the house has a stone plinth and twelve bays of timber framing, some uneven, with angle and tension braces. A door is located to the right of the centre, with a three-light casement window to the right and a two-light window to the left, both with diamond lattice glazing. Two two-light gabled dormer casement windows light the first floor. A central ridge stack is present. The left-hand gable end is constructed of brick. The right-hand gable end features five bays of timber framing with angle braces, uprights, and a V-strut to the gable.
