Description
Castleside Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1860. It is constructed of red stretcher bond brick and features a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and the entrance front consists of three bays. To the left of the center, there is a timber framed porch with a decorative timber framed gable. On the ground floor to the left, there is a 3-light casement window, and to the right, there are a 4-light window and another 3-light window, all of similar design. The first floor has three 3-light windows, each with timber framed gables above. At the rear, there is a substantial wing on the left side. This farmhouse is a notable example of the architectural style typical of the Peckforton Estate.
