Description

Willowvale Farmhouse is a 17th-century house located on the south side of West Street in Steeple Claydon. It features a timber frame with regular rectangular panels of brick infill. The right-hand gable showcases an asymmetrical cruck truss that is exposed. The roof is thatched and half-hipped to the left, with brick stacks positioned at the right gable and in the center. The house has one and a half storeys, with the first floor also thatched. There are five bays of three-light leaded casements. The entrance is a lobby entry with a 20th-century door located to the right of center, and there is a round oven projection at the rear.
