Description
No. 17 Thorncote Green is a 17th-century cottage featuring colourwashed roughcast render over a timber frame and a thatched roof. The building has a two-room plan and is one storey with attics. The front elevation includes two 2-light casement windows and a 20th-century gabled porch. There is a red brick double ridge stack that serves back-to-back hearths. A single-storeyed gabled wing projects from the left-hand side, and there is a 20th-century lean-to addition on the south gable end. Inside, the right-hand ground floor room has a moulded spine beam.
