Description

Manor Cottage is a 17th-century house located on Thorncote Road in Northill. The building features colourwashed roughcast render over a substantial timber frame and is topped with a thatched roof. It has a two-room plan, is one storey high with attics, and includes an outshot at the rear. The front elevation displays two ground floor windows and two eyebrow dormers, primarily fitted with lattice 2-light casements. There is an off-centre plank door situated beneath a gabled wood porch. A red brick double ridge stack serves a back-to-back hearth.
