Description

The lych gate to St Mary's churchyard was built in 1880 in memory of John Harvey of Ickwell Bury. It is made of oak and features a clay tiled roof. This small open structure has a gabled roof and square piers with decorative carving at each corner. There are balustrades on both sides, which have chamfered balusters topped with three turned supports on each side. The gable ends are adorned with pierced decorative bargeboards.
