Description

No. 8 Mill Road is a 17th-century cottage featuring colour washed plaster over a timber frame and a half-hipped thatched roof. The building has a three-room plan and consists of one storey with attics. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light horizontal sash windows with glazing bars and two single-light casements. A dormer window also features a 2-light horizontal sash with glazing bars. The entrance includes a four fielded panel door aligned with a red brick ridge stack. Additionally, there is a single-storey weatherboarded and thatched addition on the south gable end, along with an external red brick stack on the same side.
