Description
Traylesfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring a colour washed rendered exterior and a colour washed brick west end. The roof is covered with red tiles. The building has a four-room plan and includes a projecting gabled block to the south, standing two storeys tall. The south elevation displays a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with two sets of 2-light horizontal sashes with glazing bars on the first floor and similar windows on the ground floor, except for a 20th-century set of French windows on the left side. A fine moulding is present on the axial beam of the central room.
