Description

This is a threshing barn dating to the 17th century, located on the Old Milton Road near Thurleigh. It is a timber-framed structure with a 20th-century weatherboarded roof. The barn follows a 3-bay plan, with a projecting central bay that served as a threshing floor and entrance. The timber framing bears similarities to that of the nearby Eastern barn, but the 2 central trusses feature double knee braces.
