Description

This is an outbuilding, likely used as stables, dated 1686 but probably restored in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings and features a plain tile roof with stone coped gables. The building has two storeys and the southeast elevation consists of three bays. On the ground floor, there are three doorways with stone lintels and quoins, featuring stable-type doors. Between the two left doorways is a single light window with a flush square section surround. Above, there are two square openings with flush stone surrounds. A re-set datestone inscribed "1686 EB" is positioned between the two upper openings.
