Description
The Puss in Boots Public House is an early 18th-century building located on the north side of Wirksworth Road in the parish of Windley. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and brick gable stacks. The building has a dentil eaves cornice and an intermittent dentil band at the first floor level.
It is three storeys tall, with a lower two-storey section at the rear, and is designed in an L-plan. The southeast elevation has three bays. There is an off-centre rendered porch with a flat roof. To the left of the porch, there is a glazing bar sash window with twelve panes over twelve, set under a stone lintel. To the right, there are two similar windows, and above these, there are three more similar windows, which are smaller in size.
