Description
The lychgate to Holy Trinity Church, built around 1857 by T C Hine, is constructed from stone and wood. It features a plain tile roof adorned with pierced cusped bargeboards. Stone walls flank the entrance, with double gates attached to the southwest. Each wall supports a wooden arcade with trefoil heads, which in turn supports a scissor truss roof. An elaborate metal cross is positioned on the northeast gable. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
