Description
The former stable and loft, located immediately to the south-west of South Farmhouse, is likely from the early 18th century or late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with alternating flush quoins and features a stone slate roof with a new stone end stack on the right. The building is a single range, consisting of one storey and a loft. To the left, there is a flight of 11 stone steps that runs parallel to the building, leading up to a plain boarded loft door with a gable above. The ground floor includes a central plank door set in a wide doorway with a large stone lintel and flush quoins, flanked by small 2-light stone mullions. The structure has been converted for domestic use.
